Two of my photographs have been selected for the:

Seventh Regional Juried Exhibition

27 April to 28 May 2005

Reception Saturday 30 April at 7pm

Featuring works by a number of local artists selected by guest curator Andy Fabo.

Modern Fuel's 7th Regional Juried Exhibition highlights the practices of artists working in the Kingston region, showcasing a variety of conceptual streams in diverse mediums. This highly anticipated annual event celebrates the creativity of local artists and their contributions to Kingston's vibrant culture.

Andy Fabo is a Toronto artist, critic, curator, and visual arts educator. He has worked in drawing, painting, bookworks, video, installation, and digital media.   In spite of the spectrum of his creative explorations, he believes drawing and collage to be the primary pillars of his artistic practice.  He exhibits with SPIN Gallery in Toronto.

Bill Weedmark: "Repose" and "Porcupine"

"I chose these works because they fit the theme of mortality and viscerality that seemed to be building for the smaller room. I liked how they played on early 20th century modern photography but became something else when you realized that they dealt with road-kill". . . Andy Fabo
